This recipe is a take on the classic French mushroom sauté. However, with the widespread availability of ingredients, this dish has been seen famous in many parts of healthy India. This recipe of the keto mushrooms does not make use of non-vegetarian substances or any carbohydrates.
This dish is best as a healthy breakfast or a quick and satisfying snack. If you have an extra 15 minutes to spare, do roast these mushrooms along with the garlic and butter in the oven for best flavours. Also, since keto diets emphasize high-fat macros, the amount of butter in this recipe is justified. If you are not comfortable with the quantities of butter or any ingredient, feel free to adjust as per your preference.

Steps

  1. Into a pan, add butter and oil and let it melt through.
  2. Add in the chopped garlic and rosemary and fry over a low flame until the garlic takes on a golden colour.
  3. Finally, add in the mushrooms and stir well until it is all well coated in the butter and oil.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste and cook on a low to medium flame with the lid on (optional). As an alternative, you can pop them onto an oven tray and roast/grill the mushrooms for over 20 minutes on the medium heat.
  5. Serve after 10 minutes of cooking.
