Preparation Steps of Fish Pakoras


  1. To make the batter, mix flour, red chilli powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and soda bi-carb to form a thick consistency. It should be the perfect consistency of a milkshake.
  2. Coat each fish fillet with this batter and deep fry it in medium to high flame. Alternate between the heats to get a crisp pakora.
  3. Once the fish has turned golden brown, take it out and let it cool.
  4. To make the pakora crispier, deep fry for the second time at medium to low heat.
  5. Serve after sprinkling chaat masala (optional). Serve with ketchup or mint and yoghurt chutney.
