Quick, easy and flavorful, Asian Baked Halibut in Parchment is perfect for a weeknight and you won’t have any pots to wash.

Preparation Steps of Asian-Style Halibut in Parchment


Process Asian Halibut in Parchment:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.

  2. Cut out four 12” squares of parchment paper.

  3. Lay out the parchment paper onto a work surface and place one piece of halibut onto each piece of paper. Place it slightly off to one side so when you fold the paper over the ends touch.

  4. Then place an onion slice over each piece of fish.

  5. Divide the ginger, garlic and jalapeno and place on top of each piece of fish.

  6. Place 2 cilantro sprigs on top.

  7. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce through honey until smooth. Pour one quarter of the sauce over each piece of fish.

  8. Pull the top piece of paper over the fish making sure the ends match. Start on one short side start to fold and crimp the paper. Be sure to really press the fold down with your fingers. You want to fold in about ½ inch increments. Work your way around the fish. Repeat with the other 3 parcels.

  9. Place the parcels on to a baking sheet and bake for about 11 minutes.
