Introduction of Paan Sharbat

Paan is a typical South Asian mouth freshener. It is very famous in India and its neighbouring countries. Also, it is quite famous in the Gulf countries as well. However, many confuse paan to be a dessert. But that is not true. Paan is merely a wrapped bundle of mouth freshener. It usually contains many ingredients. These ingredients are limited in quantity. On an average, the best paan in the world contains up to 35 ingredients. The most mediocre paan should contain at least 9 to 12 ingredients.
Paan is a very interesting mouthful. There is a method to eat it. The whole idea of a paan is to enjoy one strong mouthful of food with your near and dear ones. The paan symbolizes togetherness and unconditional love. It is a great honour to enjoy paan with another person.
Also this paan is very easy to make. Although it requires a lot of skill to stuff so many ingredients into a bundle, it is very famous in many households. Also, although many households have different recipes for paan, there are a few constant ingredients.

The paan sharbat is a rather interesting glass of beverage. It is very refreshing and is highly healthy as well. The addition of gulkand often gives a sweetness to the sharbat. Also, it indicates a feeling of excitement and celebration. Hence, the paan sharbat is a great way for people to enjoy paan in the summer. One of the most important ingredients to this paan sharbat is definitely the betel leaves. Paan is incomplete without the addition of the betel leaves.
The paan sharbat is a great beverage that cools your body in this summer. It is rich in nutrients because of the dry fruits. Dry fruits are a great source of minerals and vitamins. They also have high levels of omega 3 and omega 6 which are great for the body. The betel leaves have ayurvedic usage and ae high in iron. Have a glass of this refreshing paan sharbat.

Preparation Steps of Paan Sharbat

  1. Wash the betel leaves well under running water.
  2. Into a small blender jar, add 7 to 8 betel leaves and water. Puree it together.
  3. In a bowl, mix through the betel leaf puree and milk. Stir them well.
  4. Add rose petal spread into this milk and stir well.
  5. Add the rose water or rose syrup to the milk as well and stir well.
  6. Now, add the chopped or sliced dry fruits into the milk and stir thoroughly.
  7. Finally, add the soaked basil seeds as well and let it cool in the refrigerator
  8. Serve in a tall glass. You can either serve it at room temperature or pour it over crushed ice in the glass.
